I didn't just operate the systems — I designed and built custom aerial platforms carrying cinema cameras long before off-the-shelf solutions existed. From early GoPro rigs to advanced multi-rotor platforms carrying ARRI, RED, and SONY cameras, the work has always been about pushing what's possible with airborne cinematography.
Co-founded KopterCam in Finland — one of Europe's most recognised cinematic drone companies — and led technical direction for over a decade. Transitioned to the UAE where I led aerial operations at Choppershoot for high-profile commercial and government projects. Currently working with Base Films and Go Aerials on feature films, commercials, documentaries, and broadcast across the UAE and internationally.
Camera Systems & Specialisations
ARRI, RED, and SONY cinema camera systems. SHOTOVER F1/G1 stabilised heads. Freefly MōVI Pro gimbal systems. DJI drone and gimbal platforms including Alta X, Alta 8, Inspire 2, and Matrice series.
Beyond aerial, I work across a range of dynamic camera movement systems — cable cam, motocrane, and car arm rigs — always with the same approach: understanding the shot first, then designing and building the technical solution around it.
That includes bespoke builds for specific production needs, such as a 360-degree camera array designed for virtual production, custom-built to integrate with the DJI Ronin gimbal system. Also experienced in photogrammetry and aerial mapping for survey and VFX applications.
